Benji was voted Americas Favorite Dancer on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance(Season 2). Later, he went on to choreograph for both the US and International versions of the show, as well as Idol, MTV, VH1, Americas Got Talent, and Dancing With The Stars. Benji works as an Artistic Director and Choreographer for some of the Worlds Biggest Pop Stars.

He is a third generation swing dancer and he has won 14 US Open Swing Dance Titles, and has choreographed more winning US Open routines than any other person. Benji is the artistic director for various live tv shows and is the Creative Director for the Us Open Swing Dance Congress since inception.

He has appeared dancing with Christina Aguilera in her Candyman video, the movie Love N’ Dancing starring Amy Smart, Tom Molloy and Billy Zane, the TV movie Holiday Spin, the TV series Math Bites and the movie Leading Ladies.

In addition to Benji’s many west coast swing dance accolades, he is a IDSF International Latin Open finalist out of 24 couples. He coaches and choreographs for some of the highest Olympic-level figure skaters in the world and is a recognized Olympic figure skating coach.

Having an extensive background in many dance styles, Benji’s training, coaching, lecturing and choreography is a sought-after tool to both the recreational dancer to the most elite of competitors.
